I had a custom box made with a lock, and unfortunately the lock is extremely poor quality. I was able to lock it with the key, but by simply applying pressure to the top outside of the lock, it can still be turned with your finger. Even when locked, the lid can be moved slightly and opens with no problem. It can also be opened with something as simple as a paperclip, which makes the lock essentially useless. The engineering team made efforts to get the lock working properly, but the issue appears to be the cheap and poorly designed lock itself. For the price paid, I expected much better quality and craftsmanship. Overall, it is overpriced, poorly made, and I would not recommend it.
